Start: KLIA to Kuala Lumpur

“Selamat Datang” means welcome. Hope it will give you that welcomed feeling when you are following me and getting  to know Malaysia tanah air ku..... hiihihihi. Ok eyes wide open and all ears on. Because there is some information here that will help you to plan your trip, get around and get to know a little of what Malaysia has to offer. Our first trip, usually from Kuala Lumpur International Airport we going to proceed to the Capital city of Malaysia. We going to travel using one of the fastest Airport The Express Rail Link.

The Express Rail Link KLIA Transit is a rail service linking KL International Airport (KLIA) to  Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia via KL Sentral. Also links between three other stops and about  57 kilometres apart. It is a standard gauge and electrified airport rail link.

The ERL having 2 way of transfer to KL Sentral. The KLIA Transit and KLIA Express. KLIA Transit is a rapid transit service designed specially for commuters and airport personnel. Just like KLIA Ekspres, this train service shares the same tracks as the KLIA Ekspres connecting KLIA and Kuala Lumpur city centre.

KLIA Transit however makes 3 quick intermediate stops along key townships station Salak Tinggi, Putrajaya & Cyberjaya, Bandar Tasik Selatan and then arrive at KL Sentral. It will integrates with KTM Commuter and RapidKL LRT at Bandar Tasik Selatan and with Putrajaya Sentral at Putrajaya Cyberjaya station.

Total journey time from end stations is 35 minutes only. Fares are based on distance travelled. Tickets can be purchased through ticket vending machines and ticket counters at station.

KLIA Ekspres is a premium non-stop high-speed train service that connects KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) and the Kuala Lumpur city centre. Cruising at a top speed of 160 km/h, the journey takes 28 minutes allowing you to relax in comfort along the way. KLIA Ekspres promises to be fast, reliable, safe; and comfortable.

KLIA Ekspres is designed with air travellers needs in mind. The KLIA Ekspres operates at 15-minutes intervals during peak hours and 20 minutes during off-peak. It is Malaysian fastest railway system with a 99.7% on-time service performance.

With air-conditioned carriages are equipped with comfortable contoured seats, a washroom, digital entertainment, overhead racks for light luggage and tiered racks for large luggage. Special wheelchair seat compartments are also available on board for the disabled.

Rest assured your luggage will be taken care of by our friendly and reliable porters at no charge. Helpful porters are available at your service at all the areas for loading or unloading of your luggage.

Just like an airport, you can check-in your flight before even reaching the airport. This facility is exclusively for KLIA Ekspres  and KLIA Transit passengers flying with Malaysia Airlines, Royal Brunei, Cathay Pacific or Emirates. Simply check-in and collect your boarding pass in advance so it allows you more time to avoid the rush when you reach KLIA.

First train departs at 5.00am and last train departs at 12.30am from KL Sentral and 1.00am from KLIA.
